In Malawi, the Ulangizi chatbot, developed by Opportunity International, delivers agricultural advice in the Chichewa language, helping farmers make informed decisions to improve their productivity.

Kenyan company Selina Wamucii has developed Kuzi, an AI-powered tool that predicts locust breeding locations and migration routes by analyzing satellite data and local weather patterns. This early warning system enables farmers to take proactive measures against locust invasions, safeguarding their crops and livelihoods
